Hosea 11:4-6

⁴I ^(A)led them with cords of a man, with bonds of love,
And ^(B)I became to them as one who lifts the yoke from their jaws;
And I bent down and ^(C)fed them.

⁵^[a]They will not return to the land of Egypt;
But Assyria—he will be ^[b]their king
Because they ^(D)refused to return to Me.
⁶And the ^(E)sword will whirl against ^[c]their cities
And will consume ^[d]their gate bars
And ^(F)devour them because of their ^(G)counsels.
